Valentine “Rocky” Adlon is the youngest daughter of actor, writer and director Pamela Adlon and filmmaker Felix O. Adlon, and the younger sister of actors Gideon Adlon and Odessa A’zion. Mainstream reporting places Rocky at 23 as of August 28, 2026. PEOPLE reported her as 22 on January 29, 2026, while a GALA profile published May 1 described her as 23.
Rocky has also appeared in screen databases under the name Rocket Adlon. She has two documented acting credits associated with that name: the 2011 film Conception and a 2022 episode of Better Things. That supports describing her as someone who has acted, but there is no reliable evidence of an active acting project or another current profession in 2026.
Compared with Pamela, Gideon and Odessa, Rocky has a smaller public profile. The clearest story is therefore not a conventional celebrity biography filled with personal statistics, but a concise account of her family background, limited acting work, connection to Better Things and the small amount she has said publicly about her own life.

Early life and family
Rocky grew up in a family closely tied to film and television. Her mother, Pamela Adlon, spent decades working as an actor and voice performer before becoming especially associated with the FX series Better Things, which she co-created, starred in, wrote and directed. Her father, Felix O. Adlon, has worked in film as a writer, director and producer.
Rocky is the youngest of Pamela and Felix’s three daughters. Gideon Adlon has built an acting career in film and television, while Odessa A’zion has appeared in projects including Grand Army and Marty Supreme. In January 2026, PEOPLE listed Gideon as 28, Odessa as 25 and Valentine “Rocky” as 22.
The sisters have occasionally appeared together at industry events. Getty Images documented Rocky with Odessa and Gideon at the Better Things Season 2 premiere in September 2017. In February 2022, Rocky appeared with Pamela and Gideon at the show’s final-season celebration.
Those appearances help explain why Rocky’s name regularly surfaces alongside the rest of the Adlon family even though she has not developed the same level of public career documentation as her mother or sisters.
The Valentine, Rocky and Rocket name variants
The strongest public sources consistently connect Valentine and Rocky. The Los Angeles Times referred to her as Valentine “Rocky” Adlon in 2020, PEOPLE used the same form in 2026, and Disney Entertainment Television identified her as “Valentine Rocky Adlon” in official event-photo metadata.
The name Rocket Adlon appears in her acting record. IMDb’s profile for Rocket Adlon connects that name to Pamela and Felix as parents and Gideon and Odessa as siblings, strongly identifying the profile with the same person. The safest description is that Rocket is a screen-credit or database name associated with Rocky, rather than a verified legal alias.
Some lower-authority biography pages use the name “Roxanne Valentine Adlon,” but no primary or first-tier source reviewed established that as her legal or birth name. It should therefore not be presented as fact.
Age and the disputed exact birth date
Rocky is best described as 23 as of August 28, 2026.
That conclusion comes from two dated mainstream reports rather than from celebrity databases. PEOPLE identified her as 22 on January 29, 2026. GALA then described Valentine Rocky as 23 on May 1. Earlier age reporting is consistent with that progression: The New Yorker described Rocky as 15 in 2019, while The Washington Post reported her as 18 in February 2022.
Several celebrity-biography sites list February 11, 2003 as her birthday, but that exact date has not been confirmed by a sufficiently authoritative first-party or top-tier source. Other weak sources have published conflicting dates. The reliable age reports establish that she is 23 in 2026 without requiring an exact birthday to be treated as settled.
Acting work and career beginnings
Rocky’s screen record is small but real.
IMDb lists Rocket Adlon in the 2011 film Conception as “Interview Kid.” Because no production-owned cast source was located for that minor role, it is most precise to treat it as an IMDb-listed childhood credit rather than evidence of an ongoing child-acting career.
Her better-supported screen appearance came in 2022. IMDb credits Rocket Adlon as “Rocky” in the Better Things episode “Family Meeting,” and an Ouest-France television listing independently includes Rocket Adlon in the episode’s cast.
Biography.com and GALA have also described Valentine as an actor or actress. Taken together, those sources support saying that Rocky has acted. They do not show that she has maintained a substantial filmography, has current representation or is actively working on a new acting project in 2026.
That distinction matters because her public career is sometimes overstated in online profiles. The documented record supports two screen credits, not an extensive professional résumé.
Her place in Better Things
Rocky’s connection to Better Things is broader than her one credited appearance.
The series followed Sam Fox, an actor raising three daughters, and drew partly on Pamela Adlon’s experiences as a mother. In a 2016 Fresh Air interview carried by WBEZ, Pamela explained that material from her life and her daughters’ experiences fed into the show. She also said her daughters became involved in elements of casting and in discussions about material.
That makes Rocky part of the real-family context behind the series, but it does not mean one fictional daughter should be treated as a direct portrayal of her. Better Things was scripted fiction even when it borrowed from real family experiences.
Rocky’s 2022 episode appearance adds a literal onscreen link to the project. It remains a brief credit, but it connects her directly to the work most closely associated with Pamela’s career as a creator.
Education and one of Rocky’s rare public comments
One of the clearest first-person details about Rocky comes from a July 2024 Interview Magazine conversation involving Pamela Adlon and Lena Dunham.
When the discussion briefly turned to Rocky, she said she had dropped out of high school. Her comment establishes her schooling status at that point, but it does not reveal what happened next. There is no reliable public record establishing a later diploma, GED, college course or other educational path.
That first-person statement also conflicts with lower-authority biography pages that claim she completed high school in a specific year. Rocky’s own words carry more weight than those unsourced timelines.
Public appearances and current status
Rocky has continued to appear occasionally at public events connected to her family.
In 2017, Getty photographed her with Odessa and Gideon at the Better Things Season 2 premiere. In February 2022, she attended the series’ final-season celebration with Pamela and Gideon.
Her latest reliable public appearance located in the record came in January 2026. Disney Entertainment Television’s official The Muppet Show screening gallery identified “Valentine Rocky Adlon” in a photograph with Pamela Adlon, Gideon Adlon, Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog.
The appearance confirms that Rocky attended the screening; it does not indicate that she worked on the production. A later GALA profile in May 2026 referred to her as 23 and described her alongside Gideon as an actress, but it did not identify a new role or project.
As of August 28, 2026, no authoritative source establishes a current employer, new acting job, course of study or other professional position for Rocky. The most accurate description is that she has acted and remains publicly associated with the Adlon family, while her present professional direction is not publicly documented.
Commonly repeated claims that are not established
Rocky’s relatively small public record has not stopped biography sites from publishing detailed personal profiles, but several frequently repeated claims remain unsupported.
The exact February 11, 2003 birth date is widely circulated but not verified by a strong first-party or top-tier source. “Roxanne Valentine Adlon” likewise has not been established as her legal name.
There is also no sufficiently reliable basis for publishing an exact height, net worth, current residence, romantic relationship or private explanation for why she has a lower public profile than her sisters.
The same caution applies to claims that she appeared in the CBS series Ghosts. Official CBS material identifies Gideon Adlon as Abby and Odessa A’zion as Stephanie. Rocky’s documented credits remain Conception and Better Things, so the Ghosts association appears to stem from confusion among the sisters.
It is equally unsupported to say that Rocky “rejected Hollywood” or deliberately chose a private life. A smaller public profile does not reveal motive. What the record does show is simpler: she has made occasional public appearances, has two acting credits and has spoken publicly only sparingly.
Conclusion
Valentine “Rocky” Adlon occupies a distinctive place within a highly visible creative family. She is Pamela and Felix Adlon’s youngest daughter, the sister of Gideon and Odessa A’zion, and someone with a modest acting record of her own under the name Rocket Adlon.
Her documented story is concise but clear: family ties to Better Things, two screen credits, a rare first-person comment about her education and occasional appearances alongside her mother and sisters. As of August 2026, that is enough to establish who she is without turning unsupported online biography claims into facts.
